Guide on How to Treat Blood Cancer

Blood contains many components such as white blood cells, red blood cells, plasma, platelets and blood cells which are produced in bone marrow. The cells which is present in the blood, when it grows abnormally which results in blood cancer. There are three main types of cancers i.e leukemia, lymphoma and multiple myeloma, all these types of cancers are produces in bone marrow. There are various treatments are available for treating the blood cancer.

Radiation and Chemotherapy:
Now a days there are many advanced treatments are available for treating blood cancer. All three types of cancers may be treated with radiation therapy and chemotherapy, but it is quite successful.

Stem cell Transplants:
It is popular treatment for treating blood related cancers. It is mostly used for treating leukemia and lymphoma , the treating procedure contains high quantity of radiations and chemotherapy which is followed by the infusion of the stem cells which are  taken from blood who’s donated. It is very risky procedure and also there is chances of death.

Biological therapy:
To destroy the cancer cells this treatment uses the unique immune system cells for encouraging the immune system of the body.In our body , there are several biological agents which changes the in the manner in which the patient immune system may respond to the cancer. This therapy is still experiments and have side effects for being severe.

Allogeneic Transplants:
In this treatment, the stems cells are provided by other person , usually a parent because the patient matches genetically to the person. This also fairly risky and also have the side effects such as fatal.
