Diet for Treating Depression

In the present world the depression is most common psychiatric disease which occur at any stage of life i.e from childhood to old age. An 80 percent of people come back from their normal state with the treatment. It is causes due to chemical changes in the brain.

Diet:
–> It often results in constipations and cramps , hence you should need to include fiber food in your diet which helps you for improving your digestive system. Grains, fruits and vegetables are good source of fiber foods.

–> Avoid non-vegetarian diet and restrict for oily and spicy food. And try to add vitamin B food in your diet which helps you to level the serotonin which is present in the brain. From research the vitamin C also helpful for overcoming from depression conditions. Have light and normal meals.

–> From the recent studies the carbohydrates also helps to release the neurotransmitter serotonin in the brain which makes you calm down. To relieve the anxiety the carbohydrates which present in a cup of white rice, boiled potato and spaghetti is enough for it. Some of the other sources of the carbohydrates are pasta, popcorn ( air popped), breads and low calorie foods.

–> Vegetables are also good option for relieving depression. It contains L Tryptophan, it is an amino acid which is best for depression and also for calming down your brain. The green and yellow vegetables are high in minerals, vitamins and photochemicals which helps you to improve the immune system of your body and may fight against the mental problems.
