Essential Nutrients for Healthy Skin

The right nutrients and vitamins are more essential for getting healthy and beautiful skin. There are many nutrients which have positive effects for obtaining healthy skin. A healthy skin is able to relegate any harmful bacteria which may be present on our skin. Here i mention some important nutrients which is essential for getting healthy skin.

Vitamin E, C and A:
The vitamin E is powerful antioxidant which reduces the effect of sun exposure. It also reduces the appearance of wrinkles on the skin, when it is combined with vitamin A it is helpful for preventing the certain skin cancers. The high sources of vitamin E is almonds, tomato, spinach, avocados, prunes, cabbages, sunflower and wheat germ oil.
Vitamin C is helpful for reducing radical damage which is caused due to sun or pollution.  It is more effective for protecting your skin from sun exposure when it is combine with vitamin E. Foods which are rich in vitamin C contain broccoli, green and red bell peppers, turnips, kale etc.
Vitamin A helps you for maintenance of your skin. It is also used for treating acne and some other skin aliments. The sweet potato, carrots, spinach, liver, kale are rich in vitamin A

Zinc:
It is most important component of healthy skin. It helps you for controlling the production of the oil in our skin and also the hormones which can create acne on your face. Eggs, pumpkin seeds, oats, pecans, nuts, ginger all of these are rich in zinc.

Selenium:
It is an antioxidant mineral which is helpful for elasticity of the tissue. It protect your skin from sun damage and also it may be play an essential role in preventing skin cancer. Foods which are high in selenium may include brown rice, eggs, seafood, wheat germ, garlic etc.

Silica:
This mineral is essential for strengthen the connective tissues of our body. It is helpful for reducing the elasticity of our skin. Mango, strawberries, green beans, leeks, celery, cucumber all of these are high in silica.

Omega 3 Fatty Acid:
It is helpful for reducing the appearance of blackheads or whiteheads which is present on your skin. Our body can not produces essential fatty acids so it must be getting through our diet, the fatty acids are helpful for moisturizing, repairing of your skin. The omega 3 fatty acids are found in fish oils, flax seeds, chia seeds.
