Foods that Promote Your Brain Power

Brains foods are those which have ability to improve the function of the brain in terms of concentration, creative thinking, memory etc. The brain food helps you for improving your concentration, memory functions which helps you in daily life. The brain food are the high source of nutrients so consuming the brain foods lead to positive and healthy life.

Oily Fish:
For good memory and concentration power, omega 3 fatty acids are essential for it. It also helpful for lowering the risk of alzheimer disease. The iodine which is present in fish is much essential for improving the clarity of thought. Eat fish two times in a week.

Seeds and Nuts:
The nuts and seeds are rich source of vitamin E and also omega 3 fatty acids. Especially the almonds and walnuts are much essential for improvement of alertness and memory. For increasing the brain function, the pumpkin and flax seeds are much better for it.

Whole Grains:
The whole grains are rich source of complex carbohydrates which are healthy for our body. You can consume whole grains such as brown rice, bran and oatmeal. Glucose is also the highest energy source of the brain.

Vegetables:
For increasing brain power, you should need to consume the green leafy vegetables such as cauliflower, spinach, broccoli, kale etc. These are high source of antioxidants which is helpful for flush out the toxic wastes in our body , that may affect on the brain function.

Berries:
The berries like blackcurrant, raspberries , blueberries are important for improving brain power and memory. You can enjoy these berries with a bowl of yogurt.

For increasing brain power you should also need to do physical exercise for keeping your brain active and also play some brain power games which enhance the numerous aspects of brain function.
