Guide on Hyperthermia and its Causes

It is heat related medical problem and occur when our body absorb more heat that it can scatter. It requires an emergency medical treatment for preventing patient from death. It includes heat stress, heat exhaustion and heat stroke. The most common symptoms of  hyperthermia is chest pain, heart rate, difficulty in breathing, pulsing headache, vomiting, dizziness, weakness, nausea, muscle cramps etc.

The acute condition of hyperthermia is heat stroke and it causes due to sustained exposure to excessive heat. Thus it results in abnormally high body temperature while in most cases the temperature can exceed 40 degree C. The heat stroke may be exertional or non-exertional, it may depends on the person while he has been exercising in heat.

Also it causes due to drugs which produces an excessive heat in our body. The drugs likes monoamine oxidase inhibitors, tricyclic antidepressants and selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors may causes hyperthermia. The illicit drugs also causes hyperthermia like MDMA, cocaine, LSD, amphetamines, PCP.
