Treat Gum Infection with Home Remedies

Gums are the fibrous tissues, it supports your teeth and forms at the base of the teeth. Gum infections in bacterial infection and it is also known as gingivitis. If you does not treat gum infection at initial stage, you may suffer from the next stage of gum infection i.e periodontists. Gum infections also causes due to alcohol abuse, smoking, tobacco, deficiency in nutrition etc. The symptoms of gum infection is like redness of the gum, toothache, bleeding , swelling of the gums , bad breath etc.  Here i mention how to treat gum infection with home remedies:

- Take a glass of lukewarm water and add two tablespoon of salt then mix it well. Rinse or gargle your mouth with this water. This one of the best way to reduce the pain of the infected gums. Repeat the procedure for two times in day.

- To reduce the swelling of the gums you can apply an ice pack on infected gum. Ice work as a anti inflammatory agent, it helps to reduce the swelling as well as pain of the infected gums.

- Make a paste of clove oil and peroxide powder and apply it on affected area with a cotton ball. It helps you to reduce the pain and swelling of infected gums. Also you can directly apply the cinnamon oil on affected area. It also great home remedy for treating gum infection.

- Take one tablespoon of fresh lemon juice and add small quantity of salt into it . Apply this mixture on the affected area, it helps to to get relief from the pain of the gums. This is also useful home remedy for treating gum infections.
